"Who am I?" - is that the right question?

We are too complex, our true nature is hidden and the answers are always Manichean. Our noble intentions are mixed with selfishness, resentment, vanity, greed. We try not to lie without always telling the whole truth. It is tempting to take a shortcut... A simplistic identity label presents a danger of seeing our qualities and flaws as fixed instead of seeing them as a springboard for growth. It demines our resilience because in this state of mind, criticism plunges us into the dynamic of "who's right? who's wrong? "and undermines the foundations of our being - our view of ourselves. Are our character traits fixed, given once and for all, or can they evolve? When we consider man as a process, it makes sense to make the effort to develop the qualities that are really important in life, such as self-awareness, emotional intelligence, leadership, professionalism, empathy, creativity and self-confidence.
