Eros and Thanatos - dialectic element or eroticism as antidote?

Eros and Thanatos - dialectic element or eroticism as antidote? - to get back in touch with a feeling of vigor, of renewal, of vitality, of energy. The desire rooted in bestiality to avoid degeneration by incessant reflection?

According to Freud, each person is dominated either by death drive or by life drive. In the first case, a destructive mental structure is formed, as in the case of sadism or masochism. In the case where the life drive wins, the destructive component is neutralized, and aggression is used in the interest of the ego and directed primarily toward socially approved goals and tasks. But even in this case, the destructive component of the libidinal energy transferred to external objects can manifest itself in various forms of channeled aggression: the search for control, domination and power. For Freud, the rejection of direct aggression represents the first and perhaps the most difficult sacrifice that society demands of an individual from early childhood. In principle, this is what underlies all democratic transformations and the opposition to all totalitarian regimes.
